Hercs Nutrition - A Name You Can Trust.

Store Herc's Nutrition has been a name people can trust for over a decade, and that trust didn't come overnight. It was developed over the years by forging strong relationships with our customers. People have come to trust us because of the attributes that makes Herc's so unique among supplement stores.
What makes Herc's so unique is the people that work there, and how the store is set up:
- We don't try and carry everything you've ever heard of, because a lot of products just don't work. We carry what we personally use, because it works!
- We make shakes because everyone could use a bit more protein : ), but more specifically, we're not a megastore that you just go in, get what you need, and get out. There's no better way to get to know someone and exchange information than over a drink!
- Finally, we all started from humble beginnings. None of us were born with a six pack. We've all had to work very hard to get where we are, and we have the before pictured to Prove it! We've learned along the way, and we're more than willing to help you do the same. Our goal is to have all our customers wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and be happy with what they see. No more, no less.

David Carvalho - Owner of Herc's Brantford and Herc's Cambridge

David has had a passion for fitness since the 7th grade, but living in a small town 25 km from the closest gym made adopting a fitness lifestyle a little difficult. He graduated high school at 5'7 and 128 lbs (almost the exact same as when he graduated grade 8!). At Brock University in St.Catharines, he found that living close to a gym wasn't the only piece of the puzzle he needed. Gaining only 8 lbs in a year, he began to learn about nutrition to "speed up the process". 7 years later (3 years of which included working at or owning a Herc's) he learned what so many people know, yet decide not to implement into their training; Nutrition is 80% of what you look like, and growing begins in the kitchen! Davids Accomplishments -

3rd Place 1st timers at the NGA Can/AM 2010 bodybuilding show in Buffalo
3rd Place Novice Lightweight at the NGA Can/AM 2010 bodybuilding show in Buffalo
4th Place Novice Lightweight at the IDFA Novice Classic 2010 bodybuilding show in Toronto
1st Place in the CPF Ontario Pro Championships < 75 kg class.
1st Place and Best Raw Lifter in the CPF Ontario Amateur Championships < 82.5 kg
Currently holds 6 All Canadian Records with the CPF and is tied with the WPC world squat record < 75 kg
